At Elevate Photography, we feel blessed to get to do what we love for a living! We believe that it is our responsibility, and privilege, to show appreciation for our community and our world by giving back.
Through the years, we’ve supported some great charities including:
Eagle Projects International (EPI) shows the love of Christ to the nations through medical and eyeglass clinics, orphanage support, education and church planting.
McCory has travelled with EPI to Nepal, India, Ghana, China and Kenya photographing the amazing projects that EPI plans. Elevate Photography donates to EPI, Free the Girls or Samaritan's Purse for each wedding we photograph.
Free the Girls exists to help women rescued from sex trafficking reintegrate into their communities. Their vision is to see a world in which previously enslaved women are leading vibrant, successful, integrated lives.
Elevate supports Free the Girls by donating a portion of our profits to their cause each year.
Open Door Ministries (ODM) exists to provide practical help and hope to people in Denver’s inner city who are homeless or low income. The primary objective is to move them toward self-sufficiency by helping change the circumstances and life patterns that have held them captive to poverty and addictions.
Elevate supports ODM in various ways including event photography, silent auction donations and projects.
The McKaila Steffes Foundation helps pediatric oncology patients who need financial assistance with their treatments. McKaila Steffes was a brave, little girl who lived next door to Elevate’s owner, McCory James. She passed away at the age of 10 after battling cancer.
Elevate supports the foundation year-round by donating a portion from each family we photograph to the cause.
